Why don’t I get the full song?
Most TikTok sounds are a 15–60 second snippet of a song, and only that part is in the video. The MP3 is as long as the video. For the full track, tap the sound name in TikTok to find the original and listen on a licensed music service.

Can I download the music from TikTok photo (slideshow) posts?
Not at the moment. Photo/slideshow posts aren’t supported yet; MP3 can only be taken from video posts.
Can I get M4A or WAV instead of MP3?
No. Audio is offered as MP3 only, so it opens on every device and in every editor.
Where does the MP3 go on iPhone?
Safari saves it to Files › Downloads. It isn’t added to the Music app; play it from Files or import it into GarageBand or an editor.
Can I share TikTok music as an MP3?
You can keep it for personal listening. The music is owned by the artist and label; re-publishing or commercial use requires a licence.
